Portfolio Website

A modern and visually appealing portfolio website designed to showcase web development, and mobile app development projects. Built using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, with image upload using AWS S3, it features a responsive layout for seamless viewing across devices. The site includes interactive project showcases, dynamic routing for individual project pages, and optimized performance for fast loading. The design serves as a professional platform to connect with clients and collaborators.

Chatbot

The Chatbot Project is a containerized (Docker) conversational web application that enables real-time chat interactions with persistent message storage per user, Speech To Text and Text To Speech. The backend is built with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, Google Speech Recognition, providing a clean, scalable, and asynchronous API architecture. It supports user identification, message logging, and retrieval from a relational database (SQLite in development and PostgreSQL in production). The system includes a Markdown parser with custom regex logic for text formatting (bold, italics, and inline code), enhancing message rendering and readability. Alembic migrations are used for version control, while environment-based configurations make the project adaptable for both local and cloud deployments (Render).

Svello Admin Panel (Temporarily hosted)

A Reactjs admin panel with Tailwind CSS, MUI, and Firebase, that uses Redux for state management, ReCharts for Data visualization and analytics and can also export data using CSV and document exports using jsPDF.

Shine Yetu School

A Kenyan school website that gives information about the school as well as having a fundraising functionality built with React.js and Node.js, enabling donors to contribute via M-Pesa. Transaction data is securely stored in PostgreSQL using Prisma, and real-time transaction updates are delivered through WebSockets to ensure transparency and immediate feedback for donors.

PAC Concepts

This is an adventure website developed using Nextjs and TypeScript. It contains a Landing page, navigation with about section, services, gallery ,a contact section, payment section and social media icons. It displays services undertaken by the organization.

Charity Donation Platform

A responsive donation platform enabling secure M-Pesa contributions. Built with Next.js, Node.js, and Tailwind CSS, it features a user-friendly interface, real-time STK Push payments, and transaction tracking. Callback handling is implemented using Ngrok for seamless communication with Safaricom’s API. The platform simplifies donations with a scalable design, ensuring accessibility across devices while showcasing robust payment integration and modern web development practices.

Play-O-Rama – Real-Time Interactive Quiz Game

A real-time multiplayer quiz mobile app built with React Native (Expo) and Supabase, allowing hosts to create live game sessions while players join using a room ID. The app delivers timed questions, processes answers, and updates leaderboards instantly using real-time database subscriptions. Technologies: React Native, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Realtime APIs.
